要約(日本語): 神戸製鉄所における所内ネットワーク（LAN）は、各工場の生産活動に関わる情報を各種システムへ伝達する役割を担う設備である。所内LANには、10BASE5に基づく通信機器が多数設置されており、稼働から20年以上が経過した現在、異常に伴う操業停止が発生している。そこで、LAN要因による操業停止を低減し、更新投資の平準化を実現すべく、通信機器の異常及び、故障に至る予兆を検知する「LAN異常・予兆監視システム」の構築を行った。

要約(英語): Local area network (LAN) in KOBE works is the important network that transmits information related to the production activities of factory to each system.It has worked for more than 20 years, therefore, operation stop of the factory occurs frequently because of network unit's breaking down.In order to reduce the operation stop, we developed of abnormality portent detection and surveillance system for LAN that detects abnormality on network units and its prediction before it occurs.
