要約(英語): In Kure works, Nisshin Steel, the process computer system at No.2 hot strip mill was installed in 1990 and had been used for 20 years or more.However, due to the discontinuation of some maintenance parts and shortage of its software capacities, it was getting difficult to operate No.2 hot strip mill stably and reliably.To improve this problem, the revamp of the process computer system at No.2 hot strip mill was carried out during the period from 2013 to 2016.This report introduces the outline and the main features of this revamping.
