要約(日本語): Photo Acoustic Imaging (PAI) is a combination imaging of sound and light. It has been widely researched using solid state laser as a high power light source. However,such laser is large and complicated, which hamper the introduction to clinical use.We have successfully developed the signal detecting technology in using LED light source. Although LED light source is small,simple and not expensive, the photoacoutic signal strength is extremely as small as thermal noise. We will try to explain the effect of pre-amplifiers added to reduce the noise level by using signal averaging method.
