要約(英語): Pilot wire relays have been applied in many cases to provide cable protection within general customers substations. Because those of analog type have been overaged and no longer in production, they will be replaced by digital protection relay units. This paper reports the development of a standardized unit, aimed for general consumers, which is equipped with a number of common protection schemes, and allows the user to configure the implementation of each protection scheme.
