要約(英語): We have developed a transformer overload protection coordinating with the thermal stress withstand curve of the transformer. Transformer overload protection, which calculates the temperature rise using the transformer overload equation. When a transformer is overloaded due to the load current flowing from LV side to HV side, the relay will trip generator feeder LV side breaker. When a transformer is overloaded due to the load current flowing from HV side to LV side, the relay will shed loads on LV side breaker. If transformer is still overloaded after the trip of generators and/or loads, the relay will issue a command to limit the output of the generator and finally isolate the overloaded transformer
