要約(英語): Since a directional comparison relay can use a power line carrier, the relay is still used today for the system where secure communication channel is not available. Upon a replacement of this relay, where a new fiber-optic communication channel is not established, a directional comparison relay will be adopted. Meanwhile, there is also a trend toward the integration of main protection and backup protection because of the improvement of CPU processing power. In such circumstances, we have integrated the conventional main protection and backup protection that were mounted on separate panels composed of three protection schemes into one panel.
