要約(英語): This Paper Describes about the development of Spot NetWork (hereinafter called “SNW”) Protection Relay using IED. SNW has been installed in Japan since 1970s. A lot of highly aged systems are still in operation and waiting for replacement or refurbishment because the protection relays can’t stands for such a long period. However, if they can replace only protection relays, they can prolong the lifetime of entire facility. Considering the situation, TDS developed the SNW relay system using GE IED, and TEPCO PG resulted that the relay matches TEPCO’s requirement and applied for their power system.
