要約(英語): This paper describes improvements and performance evaluation regarding the time synchronization accuracy of Decentralized Modular Devices (DMDs) new prototype for wide-area monitoring, protection and control of power systems. In order to improve the time synchronization accuracy, the timing measurement circuit, oscillator, and observation signal circuit of the prototype DMD were improved according to the characteristics of the synchronization method such as IEEE 1588 and other schemes.
