要約(日本語): About 30 years ago relativistic magnetrons with diffraction output (MDO) that is with extraction of radiation through a conical antenna, along wall of which cavities of an anode block are continued to the cross section exceeding the cut off section of the radiated wave, have demonstrated a possibility to multigigawatt radiation [1]. In conventional magnetrons with extraction of radiation from one of cavities only non-degenerated modes (the mode and the mode) can be used as operating ones and hopping to other modes can lead to operation with unloaded mode with result in overheat and erosion of magnetron electrodes.
