要約(英語): This paper presents a design of a transmission system configuration on a greenfield at the minimum cost when considering system requirements including transient stability, acceptable reliability, and terrain type that the transmission system will be constructed. To handle a complexity of the problem, GLNPSO with a proposed encoding process is applied as a solving algorithm. The proposed algorithm is tested on a small system with 3 generators and 3 loads. The optimal solutions can be successfully obtained under many cases of study.
