要約(英語): A single-phase voltage-quadrupler rectifier using only one dual-switch power module is presented. This is based on the half-bridge converter and the higher output voltage can easily be obtained by introducing the pumping action. The prototype, employing a power module with two insulated-gate bipolar transistors, is implemented. The experimental results under the current-mode control confirm that the input current can be wave-shaped sinusoidally with a near-unity power factor.
