要約(英語): The load characteristics of an induction motor made of an SMC core are presented. The SMC stator core is divided into 48 parts in order to facilitate press molding and to obtain distributed windings. Three dimensional shaped core is used to increase the output power while maintaining the same outer size of the motor. The experimental load characteristics show that the performance of the induction motor made of SMC is almost the same as that of the conventional laminated induction motor.
