要約(日本語): 筆者は長年、製鉄所において直流機及び高圧電動機ばかりでなく、広く電気機器の保全活動に携わってきた。また電気主任技術者会の活動として、物と人との安全にも深く関わってきた。そこで今回は、特に若手の皆さんを対象として、産業プラント電気機器の保全に携わる際の心意気や着眼等について思うところをご披露してみたい。長年の経験から来ているので理論的側面には欠ける点があろうかと考えるがご容赦願いたい。
