要約(日本語): 今世紀になりSystem of Systems(SoS)という学際的システム工学手法を社会システムに応用する試みが始まっている。計算機ネットワークとBig Data の分散処理技術，交通，エネルギー，医療への実応用をはじめとした知能システムへの応用が期待されている。本報告ではSoS研究の概要を説明するとともに，知能システム設計の手段としてSoS技術を応用している事例について紹介する。

The concept of SoS presents engineers and professionals with the potential for solving many of the challenges facing future problems. This articles summarize this new system engineering idea and method, and shows a contribution of technologies of intelligent systems.
