要約(日本語): 超高齢社会を迎え、わがくにでは医療・福祉機器の開発が盛んになっている。しかしながら医療機器の関しては輸入超過、福祉機器に関しては先端的機器の開発が促進されていない。その問題点を探り、工学技術をいかに医療・福祉の場に取り入れ、開発が促進されるかを課題に、研究会を設立した。その目的と取り組みについて述べる。
