要約(日本語): 東日本旅客鉄道会社新潟支社において、新幹線のトンネル内がいし清掃周期は3年に１回と保全標準で定められていたが、2006年のがいし汚損による閃絡事象を契機に、がいし清掃周期を1回／2年と1回／1年と当時定めた。しかし、設備環境の変化やこれまでのがいし清掃の成果を踏まえ、現行周期の妥当性について検討を行ったので報告する。また、現在実施していないポリマーがいし清掃の必要性についても合わせて報告する。
