Toshiba’s lithium-ion battery SCiB? has garnered good reputation with rapid charging and long life characteristics by adopting LTO anode. There is also an increasing trend for electric buses to switch from large-sized battery to rapid charging which will expand to a larger market with autonomous driving. The presentation will introduce the past efforts and future outlook of SCiB? in automotive applications.
