要約(日本語): This paper reports the fabrication and development of a novelflux-concentration type linear induction motor (FCLIM) utilizing the effectof flux-concentration by eddy currents. The key element of FCLIM is theconducting plate with a radial slit, inserted between the stator coils ineach slot. The leakage flux between the yokes is decreased and more fluxis concentrated into the air-gap resulting in the increment of developedthrust. It is observed from the calculated results using equivalentcircuit parameters and the experimental results that the FCLIM has superiorperformances than those of normal tubular LIM.
