要約(日本語): This paper has described the method of evaluation of the near-surface material properties using planartype coils. Usually planar type coil carries exciting current to produce the necessary magnetic fields in the proximityof some materials whose near-surface properties are to be evaluated. The material acts as the secondary winding of transformer to the exciting coil and thereby canges the impedance of the coil. The impedance is a function of the near-surface properties of the material. The impedance of the planar coil is used to evaluate the near-surface material properties utilizing a off-line generated grid system.
