要約(日本語): This paper investigates the impact of variable structure high speed phase shifter (VS HSPS) controller on shaft torsional dynamic. One side, owing to the discontinuity of control output of VS HSPS controller, it is a potential source for excitation of shaft torsional oscillation. On the other side, it is also possible to mitigate the torsional dynamic (damping oscillation and suppressing the transient torque) due to the ability of HSPS to modulate dynamic power. Through digital simulation it is shown that the controller gains and dead time play important roles for the impact of VS HSPS controller on shaft torsional dynamic.
