要約(日本語): An improved robust H-inf optimization techniques is used to design a robust supplementary controller for the Static Var Compensator(SVC) to increase the power system damping. The existing supplementary controller designed with the standard H-inf approach is unable to increase the damping of the plant with poorly damped poles and thereby affect the performance and robustness of the system. Therefore, the bilinear transform has been used tinthe design to prevent thepole-zero cancellation of the poorly damped poles and to improve the control system performance. The result have indicated that the designed controller can provide sufficient damping to the system under a wide of operating conditions.
