要約(日本語): This paper presents the new development of grid-connected PV-ECS power system where PV and Grid line are the power sources. In order to minimize the run time, power consumption from commercial line, EDLC bank storage is incorporated in the system. The capacitor bank energy storage system will find valuable applications where a source of very high power is required. The inverter converts the DC from PV to an approximated sine wave AC and the MPPT, which is embodied in the inverter, is utilized to keep the PV generator operating at or near its maximum power point. The stand-by charger rectifies the AC to DC form and charges the capacitor banks. This PV-ECS arrangement makes it possible to power large AC loads directly from the inverter while bypassing the EDLC bank-inverter route.
