要約(日本語): In order to reduce the cost of the long continuous stator of an underwater linear motor transportation system, a discontinuous propulsion-control has been proposed. In this paper, an experiment to control Marine Express (ME)02 underwater over three short-stators is presented. The total length of the discontinuous short-stators is only 1/3 of the total running distance. To measure continuously the vehicle's speed and position a telemeter sensor system is used. The control is carried out with a discrete current and a variable mechanical load angle. Using this control the vehicle has been successfuly controlled to follow the demand motion patterns.
