要約(日本語): Dynamic Economic Dispatch (DED) is one of the main functions of Power Generation Operation and Control. It determines the optimal operating of generator units with predicted load demands over a certain period of time with an objective to minimize total production cost while the system is operating within its security limit. This paper proposes a new hybrid method of Evolutionary Programming (EP) and Sequential Quadratic Programming (SQP) for solving DED. In this paper, New England Test System was used to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method compared with those obtained from EP alone.
