要約(日本語): This report investigates the influence of the location of a fault current limiter (FCL) on the interrupting condition imposed on a circuit breaker. The interrupting condition was found to be almost independent of the location of the FCL. The resistive FCL is considered to offer advantage in relaxing the interrupting condition of the circuit breaker. However, the inductive FCL would not necessarily be effective in relaxing the interrupting condition of the circuit breaker.
