要約(日本語): The development of power industry ensures a high reliable system, however, it also results in an increase of fault current. In some situation, people had to resort the current limiting technology to depress the fault current under certain level.As a new equipment introduced into power systems, it is necessary to understand the influence of FCL upon systems, its performance under various conditions. Based on these, to determine the parameter settings and coordination with other protect units. Our report is a prompt in this field.In our report, the WEST10-Machine System designed by the IEEJ is adopted as the model system. Two types of FCL models are designed. The current limiting operation of FCL under various fault conditions and the influence of FCL upon the system are simulated by EMTP-ATP.
