要約(日本語): This paper discribes different methods of metallic particle deactivation around spacers between non-parallel plane electrodes under DC voltage in atmospheric air. Particle motion around different shaped spacers were observed experimentally and the results are discussed analyzing the electrostatic force acting on the particle. On the basis of the obtaned results, two methods to deactivate particle around/within spacers are suggested: One is to reduce the field strength in the vicinity of the triple junction to prevent/suppress the conducting particle from approaching/adhering to spacer, and the other is to trap the particls within the spacer itself and to prevent it to reach the H.V.E.
