要約(日本語): The present paper describes the reduction effect of a resistive fault current limiter (FCL) on the interrupting condition to which a circuit breaker is subjected. The insertion of the FCL into the power system allows the interrupting condition to be less severe, thus enabling a lower rated circuit breaker to be used. The results of this study show that an air circuit breaker can be used in the presence of an FCL to interrupt the current. As a result, we may avoid using SF6 as interrupting medium in circuit breaker to reduce the growth of the greenhouse gas emissions.
