要約(日本語): Problems on modern power systems are more and more difficult to be solved due to the large expanding and nonlinear characteristic of power systems. The need of using other alternative choices such as genetic algorithms (GA’s) to solve such difficult problems becomes more evident in case of little or no prior knowledge is available. In integration GA and power system simulation tools, among them such as PSCAD/EMTDC, EMTP, EuroStag, etc, ObjectStab in Dymola is more flexible than those in point of direct access to component models and interfacing with other tools. In this paper, the effective use of GA and ObjectStab in Dymola has been demonstrated by using an example of simultaneous tuning PSS in a multimachine power system.
