要約(日本語): Voltage at the top of a transmission tower generated by a direct lightning strike has always been a subject of study in the field of lightning surge analysis. Practically, the waveform of the tower top voltage is directly related to the voltage induced across an insulator string during a lightning strike. In this paper, two numerical methods called Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) and a moment method in frequency domain (NEC-2) are applied to clarify characteristics of the tower top voltage over ground of finite conductivity.
