要約(日本語): It is claimed that the major cause of GIS malfunction is metallic particles, especially when it reaches to the insulating spacer. With the aim to further increase the reliability of GIS, considerable efforts have been devoted to researches concerning spacer configurations, characteristics of flashover along spacer surface using particles fixed to the spacers, etc.. However, the effect of spacers on free particle motion behaviour in the non-uniform field along the electrode surface has not been studied significantly.In this study, the particle motion behaviour around simple shaped spacer between diverging electrode is investigated under DC and 60Hz AC high voltages. Spherical particle motion is estimated by solving the motion equations while considering various force and the results are compared with the experimental ones. Moreover, the wire particle motion behaviour around simple shaped spacer was also briefly discussed.
