要約(日本語): In a new competitive environment, the definition about Available Transfer Capability (ATC) has been proposed. According to NERC definition, ATC depends on several parameters, i.e. Total Transfer Capability (TTC), Transmission Reliability Margin (TRM), and Capacity Benefit Margin (CBM). This paper will focus on the calculation of TRM. By its definition, TRM is a transmission transfer capability reserved for the uncertainties purpose. These uncertainties may come from model error, load forecast error or others. The TRM calculation by probabilistic method is proposed in this paper. Based on the modeling of load forecast error and error in line rating, various cases of TTC will be calculated by simulation method. By comparing the new TTC with that of calculation from the normal case without uncertainty, the required amount of TRM can be obtained.
