要約(日本語): This paper presents a method for calculating the effects that bilateral transactions have on a power system when Available Transfer Capability (ATC) limits are considered as constraints for the bilateral transactions that take place in the day ahead bilateral transaction market. Electricity is considered a heterogeneous product traded in bilateral auctions where both buyers and sellers can bid a price for electricity. Transmission constraints are represented by ATC limits, which are used as constraint data for all bilateral transactions. Authorized transactions become firm contracts and the effects of these contracts on the day ahead market are studied by means of an algorithm developed by the authors.
