要約(日本語): In order to study characteristics of invading lightning surges, it is necessary to clarify examine the electric field generated by lightning surge current. In the present study, the electric field measurement is devised by combining the nonlinear optics effect, such as an optical second-harmonic generation (SHG) with the electro-optics effect. KTiOPO4 (KTP) were used and feasibility of the proposed method for impulse electric field measurement was studied. Experimental and the theorelical study confirmed that the SHG technique can be used for impulse electric filed measurement with a wide dynamic range of the order of a few kV.
