要約(日本語): In an EMS Maglev train, the movement of electromagnets induces eddy current in the steel rails, which reduces levitation force. When an EMS Maglev system originally designed for a low-speed application like HSST is used for a higher-speed operation of about 200 km/h, the influence of the eddy current becomes important. In this study, numerical analysis of such three-dimensional eddy current problems in the EMS-Maglev system has been carried out with nonlinear magnetic properties of the steel rails taken into account. Then the influence of the eddy current on levitation and propulsion forces is examined.
