要約(日本語): In this paper, Genetic algorithm is introduced to approach the optimal controller of one FACTS device for stabilizing power system oscillations. The procedure of finding the optimal solution, allocation and type of FACTS device, has been considered hieratically. At first step, the best fitness value corresponding to tuning controller structures of FACTS devices at one location and type are carried out for most effective in power system stabilizing purpose. Then, the weighting factors relevant to each location and each type of FACTS devices are determined as cost factors to identify the final optimal solution.
