要約(日本語): Basically vacuum interrupter (VI) is designed to keep its internal pressure at the order of 10-7~10-8 Torr. If leak is occurring, the air or the gas surrounding the VI may invade and would increase the internal pressure. The level of vacuum will deteriorate and the insulation performance will decrease. Due to these phenomena the partial discharge (PD) which will lead to the breakdown might occur. The study on the reliability of vacuum interrupter such a detection of a slow leak has been carried out [1] but the study of PD properties on a leak of VI is still insufficient. In this report, clarification of PD occurring at low vacuum is carried out. Three levels of air pressure with three strips of VI were used to simulate the leakage of the VI at 1, 5 and 20 Torr.
