要約(日本語): In circuit breakers the high temperature gas generated during current interruption might ignite if applied with voltage. This ignition of the hot gas seems to be caused by Ohmic heating of the gas. We theoretically studied the ignition of the hot CO2 and air and compared the results of the calculations with the experimental results. We found that the ignition voltage of CO2 is higher than that of Air at temperatures around 3000 K
