要約(日本語): The lightning protection of a power distribution line in most of the countries of the world is targeted for a lightning hit directly to the distribution line as well as a near by lightning stroke. Rational lightning protection designs are made by experimental studies, computer simulations and lightning observations. In the recent year, a distribution line usually uses a reinforced concrete pole for bracketing wires and power apertures. The grounding conductor is laid along and isolated from the reinforced concrete pole. The reinforced concrete pole should be treated as a grounding electrode a conductor for a lightning current. The surge impedance of the grounding conductor is affected by the existence of the reinforced concrete pole due to the electromagnetic field scattered by the reinforced concrete pole. This paper describes the simulated results of the self and mutual surge impedances of a grounding conductor and a pole using a method of moment
