要約(日本語): We have reported on AC losses when filaments are not twisted using the same software from Ansoft Corporation. When a multi-filamentary HTS tapes undergo a time varying magnetic field, whether externally applied or in self field due to transport current, the ac losses in the matrix consist of two components: (1) coupling loss, (2) eddy current loss. To reduce ac coupling loss, the filaments are being twisted. The effects of twist pitch on self field eddy current loss have not been reported. This need to be taking into consideration for accurate prediction of total ac losses in HTS tapes. We present 3D calculation results of eddy current and coupling losses.
