要約(日本語): The series type Back to Back (BTB) converter for power balancing distribution transformer power between adjacent distribution lines is proposed. The series type BTB converter is used to exchange power from a light to heavy load distribution lines. Power exchanging is aimed to reduce losses and avoid damage of a heavy load distribution transformer. The series type BTB converter has some merits, such as compactness, robustness in control against voltage sag which caused by lightning strike and removability. The removability is realized by using toridal type of CT to connect converter with distribution line. To verify the proposed method, operation of the BTB converter is simulated by using PSCAD/EMTDC
