要約(日本語): This study proposes a heuristic-based design of SMES controller with improvement of SMES output energy. Besides a better damping performance, a SMES controller is also designed to improve the SMES output energy utilized for suppressing power system oscillations occurred following disturbances. In the design, parameters of a SMES controller are systematically tuned based on the objective function considering both damping performance and SMES output energy by using a heuristic method. By applying a heuristic method, the proposed design method gives a high quality of solution with less effort. Finally, the simulation results confirm the effectiveness of the designed SMES controller.
