要約(日本語): It is widely known that the thermal interruption of a SF6 arc can be influenced by the geometrical features of different nozzle shape spaces. Such effects can also be seen on the arc of CO2 with additional gases which is one of the candidates for SF6 as an arc-quenching medium in a circuit breaker,since SF6 has a high global warming potential. Therefore, it is important to understand the arc behaviors and then interruption capability in such CO2 with additional gas in the various nozzle shape spaces because the nozzle shape remarkably influences the gas flow velocity distribution, the arc temperature variation and the electrical conductivity etc. This report focuses on the influence of nozzle shape on thermal interruption of a CO2 model circuit breaker with H2 inclusion using an electromagnetic fluid dynamic simulation.
