要約(日本語): Transient analysis by means of the frequency transform method is able to take into account the frequency dependent effect of distributed parameter lines, including cables without any approximation. However, special treatment for initial condition is required for the method. A program, which calculates the initial conditions for lumped-parameter elements and distributed-parameter lines, is developed in this paper. The Frequency domain Transients Program (FTP) is enhanced by the implementation of a steady state analysis and the initial condition routine. An accurate line fault surge can be calculated without any approximation of the frequency dependency by the developed program.
