要約(日本語): Partial discharge (PD) is a symptom of degradation of insulation material in electric power equipment. The insulation diagnosis system using radio remote sensing has been developed because PD emits wide band electromagnetic (EM) waves. This paper shows the estimation of radiation power from PD by measuring EM waves. The propagation of the electric power between the antenna and the gap is based on Friis transmission equation. The amount of electric charge will be estimated by these estimation results.
