要約(日本語): Gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) has been widely used in substation because of its high reliability. Partial discharge (PD) is a symptom of the defects. The detection of PD using the remote sensing technique is becoming increasingly important. We present numerically the effect of shape of spacer on electromagnetic waves emitted from PD in GIS using the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method. We use three types of spacer in this simulation. The EM waves are passed though and partly reflected at the spacer. The propagation of the EM waves is varied by the shape of spacer.
