要約(日本語): The prototype of odor recorder, with the capability of reproducing odors as well as recording them, had been firstly developed based on the odor sensing system by our group in last few years. After that, we proposed the odor recording system using the mass spectrometry so that a few hundreds of m/z values can be easily obtained as sensor outputs. However, these systems still cannot be used real time together with the lack of the portability. In this study, the new prototype of the odor recorder based on the portable and real time mass spectrometry was developed to support practical applications. Moreover, the odor components with low volatility are also properly utilized in this developed system so that the range of recordable odors can be extended.
