要約(日本語): In this study, we explored accumulation properties of five polymers for various volatile organic compounds (VOCs) by using quartz crystal microbalances (QCMs). Polystyrene (PS), polybutadiene (PBD), poly(acrylonitrile-co-butadiene) (PAB), polystyrene-block-polybutadiene-block-polystyrene (PSBS) and poly(acrylonitrile-co- butadiene-co-styrene) (PABS) have been used as accumulation films, which were coated onto QCMs by spin-coated technique. The frequency changes of polymer-coated QCMs were monitored in various concentrations of VOCs and the responses were strongly depended on polymers as well as gas species. The sensitivities of the polymer films have been analyzed by K-factor representing the efficiency of accumulation. We found a good relationship between K-factor, the Hansen solubility parameters of polymers and VOCs. The detections of VOCs can be achieved by the analyses of data obtained from QCMs having different polymer films.
