要約(日本語): Although the 3-phase diode rectifiers are several advantages compared with PWM recitifiers, such as compact, cheap, efficient and etc., procuding distorted input current is a severe disadvantage in this type of rectifiers. To mitigate the disadvantage, a simplified 12-pulse topology was proposed before. In this paper, the characteristics and the performace of the ordinary 6-pulse and the simplified 12-pulse rectifeirs are practically evaluated and compared by means of experimental setups of 10kW output, and the usefulness of the simplified 12-pulse rectifier is shown.
