要約(日本語): This paper presents a new method for achieving line loss minimization and voltage regulation in the loop distribution systems simultaneously. First, an elaborated mathematical analysis of the line loss minimum conditions in the loop distribution systems is presented. Then, voltage regulation of the receiving end voltage is applied in the loop distribution system under line loss minimization condition. In order to achieve these two objectives simultaneously, the unified power flow controller (UPFC), a typical FACTS device, is used. The proposed control schemes of the UPFC series and shunt converters are presented. The effectiveness of the UPFC has been verified experimentally.
